Barbecue Sauce — Lear

2 C water
½ C apple cider vinegar
½ C dark molasses
½ C stock
1 can tomato paste
1 TBS yellow mustard
2/3 C brown sugar (packed)
1½ TSP liquid smoke
2 TSP salt
2 TSP pepper
1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
1 TSP chili powder
1 TSP onion powder
1 TSP garlic powder
1 TSP paprika

Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat.  When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, for 45 to 60 minutes or until sauce is thick.
