If you'll recall our conversation well before the party, I plan these sorts of things around the fact that you specifically, and more generally a handful of others simply do not like to bother with costumes. I am fully aware of this, and take it into consideration. I would never expect you to stay away simply because you're wearing civvies... hell, my parties wouldn't be near as much fun without you. Having fun is the bedrock that my parties are planned around, and I wouldn't want you to be miserable on any account... I just want you there enjoying yourself. We're friends, and that means we accept each other with all our colorful character traits regardless of significance. Hell, I'm no perfect specimen, and I know it. Far, far from it.
