{"id":2004,"date":"2023-05-18T19:51:23","date_gmt":"2023-05-19T00:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/?p=2004"},"modified":"2024-11-18T13:17:48","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T19:17:48","slug":"peach-lemonade-mtm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/peach-lemonade-mtm","title":{"rendered":"Peach Lemonade &#8211; MTM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Peach Syrup:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\u00bd LB fresh ripe peaches (peeled, pitted, chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 C water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd C sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Other Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 OZ lemon juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 C water water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and 2 C water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blitz to a pulp using a blender (stick or traditional). Strain through a fine sieve, forcing as much through and eliminating any lager pieces (pulp making it&#8217;s way through is expected and desired).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine lemon juice and remaining water with the syrup. Put in the fridge and allow to cool before serving &#8211; although at least 24 hours in the fridge will let the peach flavor develop fully.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Optional 1:<\/strong> if using fresh lemons, add the zest to either the syrup or the final mix.<br><strong>Optional 2:<\/strong> skip adding the remaining water and mix 50\/50 with chilled sparkling water as you serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yields ~1\u00bd QT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peach Syrup: Other Ingredients: Optional 1: if using fresh lemons, add the zest to either the syrup or the final mix.Optional 2: skip adding the remaining water and mix 50\/50 with chilled sparkling water as you serve.
