{"id":2263,"date":"2024-11-11T15:35:06","date_gmt":"2024-11-11T21:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/?p=2263"},"modified":"2024-11-11T15:35:06","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T21:35:06","slug":"pork-stroganoff-with-buttered-noodles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/pork-stroganoff-with-buttered-noodles","title":{"rendered":"Pork Stroganoff with Buttered Noodles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 onion (chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 OZ butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TSP vegetable oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00bc TSP smoked paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 OZ button mushrooms (sliced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bd LB pork loin steaks (thinly sliced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TBS vegetable oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bc C full fat sour cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc TSP salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd TSP black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TSP lemon juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TBS fresh parsley (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Noodles:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>14 OZ pappardelle (see note 4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TBS salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 OZ butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cooking the pasta:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring a large pan of water to the boil. Add the salt and then cook the pappardelle as per the packet instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When cooked drain well, add the butter and use tongs to gently lift and turn the pappardelle until the butter has melted and coated them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the sauce:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add 1 tablespoon of the oil to a large frying pan and heat until very hot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add half of the pork and stir fry for about a minute. Transfer this to a plate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the remaining tablespoon of oil and cook the other half of the pork, again for 1 minute. Transfer this to a plate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the butter and oil to the pan and melt over a medium heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the paprika and onion.
