{"id":233,"date":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","slug":"233","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/233","title":{"rendered":"Cornbread Dressing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Start with cornbread recepie (reduce sugar to 2 TBS)<br \/>\n1 LB loose pork sausage<br \/>\n1 medium onion (chopped)<br \/>\n\u00bd TSP thyme<br \/>\n6-8 cloves garlic (minced)<br \/>\nSalt &#038; pepper to taste<br \/>\n1 C celery (chopped)<br \/>\nChicken stock (or dissolved boullion)<br \/>\n\u00bd C shallots (one bunch)<br \/>\n\u00bd C fresh parsley (\u00bc C dry)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temperature:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Brown sausage in large frying pan. Drain and set aside. Saut\u00e9 onion and garlic in 1-2 TBS sausage oil. Add celery and cook for 5 minutes. Add shallots and cook for 5 minutes. Crumble the corn bread into a pot. Add saute mix to cornbread. Add seasonings and mix well. Add chicken stock to moisten. Taste for salt and pepper correction (start with 1 TSP salt).
