{"id":263,"date":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-09-17T14:38:20","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T19:38:20","slug":"263","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/263","title":{"rendered":"Dirty Rice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>2 TBS olive oil<br>1 onion (chopped)<br>\u00bd C green onion<br>\u00bd C celery (chopped)<br>8 cloves garlic (minced)<br>2 LB chicken (cubed)<br>1\u00bd LB smoked sausage (andouille, etc.)<br>1 LB ground beef<br>1 LB chicken liver (pureed)<br>2\u00bd TSP salt<br>\u00bc TSP black pepper<br>3 TBS parsley<br>1 PKG Lipton Cream Of Chicken Soup (dried)<br>3 C chicken stock<br>2 C long grain rice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Temperature:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown the chicken in a heavy 6 QT pot and set aside. Brown the sausage and set aside. Brown the\u00a0 ground beef then add the chicken liver and cook through then set aside. Saut\u00e9 the onion, green onion, garlic and celery in olive oil until soft and turning translucent. Return meats to the pot. Add salt, pepper, parsley and cream of chicken soup. Add 2 C chicken stock and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Add remaining 1 C of chicken stock, bring to a boil then stir in 2 C rice.
