{"id":2724,"date":"2026-04-27T10:16:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T15:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/?p=2724"},"modified":"2026-04-27T18:30:02","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T23:30:02","slug":"ogre-stew-white-chili-with-chicken-fablehaven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/ogre-stew-white-chili-with-chicken-fablehaven","title":{"rendered":"Ogre Stew (White Chili with Chicken) &#8211; Fablehaven"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 LB chicken thighs, boneless &amp; skinless (cubed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 MED onion (diced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cloves garlic (minced fine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TBS oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>38 OZ canned white beans (rinsed and drained)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 OZ canned diced mild green chilis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 C frozen corn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14\u00bd OZ chicken broth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TSP salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TSP ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc TSP black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 TSP oregano<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u215b TSP cayenne pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 C sour cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd C whipping cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat the oil in a 4-5 QT pot. Saut\u00e9 chicken until cooked through then set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saut\u00e9 onion until translucent. Add garlic and saut\u00e9 briefly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return the chicken to the pot, add beans, green chilies, corn, chicken broth, and seasonings. Bring to a boil then lower the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from heat.
