{"id":321,"date":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","slug":"321","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/321","title":{"rendered":"Artichoke (Stuffed)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>3 artichokes<br \/>\n3 C seasoned bread crumbs<br \/>\n1\u00bd C parmesan cheese<br \/>\n1 TSP sweet basil<br \/>\n1 TSP thyme<br \/>\n1 lemon<br \/>\n2 TBS parsley (chopped)<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic (minced)<br \/>\n\u00bc TSP black pepper<br \/>\n\u00bd TSP salt<br \/>\n\u00bd C olive oil<br \/>\nOnion (minced)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Temperature:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Cut the stems off of the artichokes.  Open the leaves and wash.  Rub with lemon or soak in a lemon juice and water mix.  Cut the spiny tips off of the leaves with a kitchen shears.  Saute the onion in 1 TBS olive oil, add the garlic and saute for another minute.  Mix in all of the other dry ingredients.  Add \u00bd of the olive oil.  Stuff leaves with the dry stuffing mix.  Pour the remaining oil over them (optional).  Place in a deep pot with 3 inches of water and \u00bd TSP salt &#8211; a steamer rack helps.  Cover and steam for 30 minutes or until tender.
