{"id":375,"date":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-11-18T14:50:03","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T20:50:03","slug":"375","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/375","title":{"rendered":"Green Beans With Walnut Vinaigrette &#8211; RKM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 QT water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bd LB green beans (trimmed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00be C walnuts (coarsely chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 green onions (minced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc C parsley (chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc C dill (snipped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00be C olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc C cider vinegar (may use part balsamic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd TSP salt to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc TSP black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b><u>Optional Garnishes<\/u><\/b><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bd C radishes or radish roses (thinly sliced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TBS parsley and\/or dill (snipped)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a large saucepan, bring the water to boil over high heat. Add the beans, reduce the heat to medium, cover and cook until crisp but tender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drain the beans in a colander and rinse under cold water. Drain well and place in serving bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blend the walnuts, green onions, parsley, dill, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in a food processor or blender until smooth &#8211; about 1 minute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spoon over the beans and toss well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrigerate, tightly covered, for about 1 hour.
