{"id":387,"date":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2001-09-09T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-11-18T15:14:47","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T21:14:47","slug":"387","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmentd.com\/blog\/387","title":{"rendered":"Scallop Stir-Fry &#8211; MTM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 C fresh broccoli<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 OZ Golden Star Whole Baby Corn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4\u00bd OZ mushrooms, fresh<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 MED onion (sliced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cloves garlic (minced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 OZ bay scallops (raw)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 OZ small green peas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TBS soy sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd C chicken broth or bouillon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TSP corn starch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 TBS olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt &amp; pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add the corn starch to the soy sauce, mix thoroughly and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.\u00a0Add the olive oil and onions and saut\u00e9 until the onions start to turn clear and soft. Add the garlic and saut\u00e9 for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the rest of the vegetables, season lightly with salt and pepper and stir-fry until warmed through. Remove the vegetables to a bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring the skillet back up to temperature and add the scallops, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until just done, approximately 3 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the vegetables back to the pan and then add the chicken broth. Cook for 1 minute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the soy sauce \/ corn starch mixture to the pan by drizzling slowly while stirring the contents of the pan.\u00a0Cook while stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve over rice or noodles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Yields 4 servings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calories: 269 | Fat: 7.9 g | Carbohydrate: 25.7 g | Protein: 24 g<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yields 4 servings.
